First Gay Pride in Serbia ended with homophobic attacks

Serbia (Belgrade), The Last October 2010, Serbia had made the first Gay Pride march to be held in Belgrade since 2001, violent clashes and a lot of homophobic group that has not stopped in the streets of Belgrade hold the first gay parade in nine years.

The president of Serbia, Boris Tadic condemned the vandalism on the streets of Belgrade and called for the attackers and the organizers of the disorders "are arrested and brought to justice."

Clashes between security forces and youth groups opposed to the first homophobic gay parade phased out during the afternoon following last for several hours in different parts of the capital.
